OUR COMMITMENTS
Atelier 22B is committed to making a positive social and environmental impact through an ethical, transparent, and fair value chain.
As a purpose-driven company, our approach centers on three pillars:
ECO-DESIGN PRINCIPLES
Creating bold, well-crafted, high-quality designs at fair prices, our products are made to last beyond trends, with respect for people and the planet throughout their lifecycle.
SOCIAL AND LOCAL ENGAGEMENT
1. Empowering Women
We support female entrepreneurship by providing our artisans with fair pay, a local creative environment, and health insurance—a rarity in a country where 95% lack coverage. Their well-being assures the quality of our products and strengthens our partnership.
2. Promoting an Open, Inclusive, and Supportive Society
We collaborate both in Africa and France whenever possible with institutions dedicated to the social and professional inclusion of people with disabilities (including the deaf, hard of hearing, and those with mild cognitive disabilities).
NURTURING TALENT AND SHOWCASING SKILLS
Celebrating African references by supporting creation innovatively, without cultural appropriation.
Our ambition is to establish a sustainable, professional artisanal sector capable of meeting international demand.
OUR STORY
The Founder
With roots in France and Senegal, Violaine Beh has traveled to over 40 countries, seeking human connections, cultures, and artisanal expertise. After building a strong professional background with global corporations such as KPMG, LVMH, and Technip FMC, Violaine aligned her professional path with her personal values to dedicate her talent for design, her energy, and creativity to the empowerment of women, social inclusion, beauty, and authenticity.
Carrying a vision and passion that inspire others, Violaine founded Atelier 22B in 2023. She designed the first collection, quickly gaining attention for its minimalist, singular African aesthetic. Since then, she continues to build a community around Atelier 22B, gathering partners ready to disrupt the industry with original, authentic pieces that fit modern lifestyles, committed to a desirable future.
